Niantic Announces Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas Event Updates Trainers Experience Gameplay Issues and Additional Content Trainers who were excitedly waiting to participate in Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas on Saturday encountered gameplay issues, creating frustration among ticket holders. Niantic, the developer of Pokemon GO, sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience caused and expresses gratitude for the trainers’ patience as they work to resolve the issue. In light of this situation, Niantic has made several announcements to compensate affected trainers and enhance their experience. Extended City Event Experience and In-Game Bundle To make up for the gameplay issues, Niantic has extended the city event experience throughout Las Vegas for an additional three hours from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. PST on Saturday, February 18, 2023. During this time, trainers can enjoy additional Primal Raids and wild Pokemon encounters. However, it’s essential to note that event gameplay won’t be available in Sunset Park past the original event hours. As an additional thank-you gesture, Niantic has introduced a special in-game bundle available in the shop until February 19, 2023, at 10:00 p.m. PST. This bundle, offered at no cost to trainers, includes three Premium Raid Passes and three Remote Raid Passes. Team GO Rocket Collaboration In an exciting development, trainers with a ticket to Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas will have the opportunity to team up with Team GO Rocket for a special research story exclusive to this event. Trainers can embark on an adventure, working alongside the Team GO Rocket Leaders for the first time. The story unfolds, questioning whether Team GO Rocket has changed their ways or if it’s all part of a trap. Discover the mysteries surrounding Team GO Rocket at Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas. Increased Chance of Encountering Shiny Pokemon Professor Willow, the resident Pokemon expert, has made an intriguing discovery. Trainers participating in Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas will have an enhanced chance of encountering Shiny Pokemon that were originally discovered in the Hoenn region. This exciting prospect adds an extra layer of excitement to the event and encourages trainers to keep an eye out for these rare and dazzling creatures. A Coded Quest and Hidden Legendary Pokemon Encounters A unique feature of Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas will be the presence of secret codes hidden throughout Sunset Park. Trainers who successfully discover these codes will have the opportunity to encounter legendary Pokemon. This provides an additional challenge for trainers, as they explore the park in search of these hidden codes. Exclusive Live Experiences and Featured Pokemon Encounters The event offers trainers the chance to encounter legendary Pokemon Latias or Latios, known as the Eon Pokemon. By taking snapshots of Latias (Sapphire badge) or Latios (Ruby badge) found in the wild, trainers can earn additional encounters with these majestic creatures. Additionally, trainers can use the GO Snapshot feature to capture snapshots during the event. They might be surprised by the appearances of Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip, the iconic partner Pokemon from the Hoenn region. Timed Research tasks provide opportunities to encounter the enigmatic Spinda, the Spot Panda Pokemon. Completing these tasks will lead to exciting encounters with this unique and elusive Pokemon. The event also introduces new Field Research tasks that allow trainers to collect Mega Energy and catch Ghost-type Pokemon. Trainers with a ticket will have a boosted chance of receiving this research, further enhancing their gameplay experience. Exciting Event Bonuses Trainers attending Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas will enjoy several event bonuses. These include special trades within the park, with up to six trades allowed. Additionally, the Stardust cost for trades made within the park is reduced by 50%. The chance of encountering Shiny Pokemon is also increased, adding an element of anticipation to the event. New Music and Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas Ticket Details Trainers attending the Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas event can look forward to new pieces of featured music inspired by Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire. These musical compositions have been specially created by Junichi Masuda, the renowned composer of the Pokemon video game series and Chief Creative Fellow of The Pokemon Company. The addition of new music enriches the overall experience of the event. Tickets for Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas can be purchased through the in-game shop. The early bird pricing, available until December 31, 2022, offers tickets at a discounted rate of USD$25. After December 31, 2022, the price increases to USD$30.
