GO Battle League: Season of Light Start Date, Rank Resets, and End-of-Season Rewards
The Season of Light will officially commence on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7). As the season begins, there are a few important things to note. Firstly, end-of-season rewards will be available on the battle screen, offering trainers exciting incentives for their performance. Additionally, your GO Battle League rank will be reset, providing everyone with a fresh start and new challenges to overcome. Don’t worry, though, as the rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior season, ensuring a fair and balanced playing field.
GO Battle League: Season of Light Schedule
To keep the excitement going throughout the season, several leagues and cups will take place at different intervals. Here’s a breakdown of the schedule:
Great League
Starting off the season, the Great League will run on specific dates and provide trainers with a chance to showcase their skills with Pokemon that are at or below 1,500 CP.
Little Jungle Cup Remix
Following the Great League, the Little Jungle Cup Remix will bring a twist to the battle format. In this cup, only specific types of Pokemon, including Normal, Grass, Electric, Poison, Ground, Flying, Bug, and Dark types, will be eligible, and there will be restrictions on the three most commonly used Pokemon from the previous Little Jungle Cup.
Psychic Cup
